Dating and relationships coach, James Bauer, the creator of the popular What Men Secretly Want program (on the “respect principle”), has just released a new program called His Secret Obsession.
He claims to have found a secret trigger to a man’s heart that very few women know about and even fewer still know how to exploit to make him fall in love with you and stay hopelessly addicted to you for the rest of his life.
This trigger is based on what he calls the “hero instinct”, which is a man’s desire to feel noble by protecting and providing for women. The woman who makes him feel like a hero will have his heart forever.
According to Bauer, this desire in a man is far stronger than even the desire for sex. It is so important to a man that no matter how attracted to you he is, or how strong your chemistry is if it’s missing, he’ll never be able to truly give his heart to you and he will always have an unshakeable urge to seek out a woman who has this one “secret ingredient” – the ability to make him feel like a hero.
Few things kill a man’s attraction faster than a relationship where he doesn’t feel needed. He wants to see himself as someone who protects and provides for others, especially those closest to him, and be admired for this quality.
But if he doesn’t feel needed, he feels like less of a man and emasculated. And that turns off his romantic drive.
Bauer suggests that many, many women today sabotage their relationships with men and drive them away by being too independent and not allowing the man they’re interested in be their hero – which he secretly desires to be.
On the other hand, when you know this powerful “secret ingredient” (how to make a man feel like your hero) he argues that you won’t believe how effortless, passionate and bulletproof your relationship with the man of your dreams can be.

My Evaluation of His Secret Obsession:
I must say that before going through the program I was initially a bit skeptical of it. My concern was that this was just another slick marketing promotion in which someone is just repackaging old stuff in the form of a bright shiny object that is supposed to be the panacea for all women’s dating and relationship problems.
However, my concerns were quickly dispelled. Although, this is not the magic pill to fix everything, I can see how this could greatly enhance a woman’s appeal to men. It is certainly true that women, especially in the Western World, have now become so independent and will often not let men be men by being their heroes.
I can definitely agree as both a man and a dating and relationships coach that if you as a woman don’t make the man you’re interested in feel like your hero, he will be far less likely to consider you long-term relationship and marriage material.
But if you incorporate what James Bauer teaches you into your life there is no reason why a great man would not fall head over heals for you and want to stick around for as long as you will have him.
Even better, I believe that this training on the “hero instinct” would work extremely well when applied with Bauer’s other training on the “respect principle”, which he covers in his What Men Secretly Want program which I have reviewed here: What Men Secretly Want Review. These two elements together have the potential to make you absolutely irresistible to men!
Finally, His Secret Obsession is very professionally produced. You can access the training in three forms: either online, pdf, or downloadable MP3 audiobook.
In view of all this, I have no hesitation in recommending His Secret Obsession. I give it 4.5 stars.
